Ms. White is a Senior Consultant with CastleBay Consulting. She has 20 years of project and systems experience in the Property & Casualty market space. Karyn is currently running a project team in charge of the definition of Underwriting Rules and the structuring of personal lines insurance products using the rules-based product definition component of a leading Policy Administration software product. Prior to her current engagement Karyn ran a project team in charge of the definition of Underwriting and Product structure Rules for commercial lines insurance products using the rules-based Policy Administration software product. Previously Karyn was involved in the Policy Issuance component of a major Commercial Lines Policy Administration development. She was responsible for the development and execution of the test strategy, test plan, and detailed testing documents for Policy Issuance, including forms, as well as downstream corporate edit/statistics, billing, financial, and agency systems. Prior to joining CastleBay Karyn worked for a leading Property & Casualty Insurance software vendor where she performed various management and project related roles. These roles included: managed the development of a Windows based, web-enabled, claims and risk management system for the carrier market. Her responsibilities include developing and maintaining project plans, budgeting, and direct management of project personnel. Her hands-on involvement included development of design specifications, test plans, responsibility for enterprise system implementations in the International arena. This included the management of technical and business staffs at multiple off-site and home locations, for several concurrent projects. International assignments included Spain, UK and Mexico. implementation responsibility for several Electronic Document Management projects for large accounts. Karyn’s responsibilities included management of technical and business staff throughout the implementation process, overall project management, definition of customer requirements and system approaches, and creation and execution of test and education plans on-site support of international Life, and Property and Casualty systems during development and installation of integrated systems. While not on-site served as the home-based project coordinator directing communication between the customer operations staff and the technical and operations staffs acted as liaison between client and programming staff Developed detailed testing matrices and user documentation for international clients and worked closely with clients during system testing phase, installation, and production support. implementation responsibility for several Electronic Document Management projects for large accounts.
