Karl Shuetze is Vice President of Engineering. He leads the team of engineers and developers responsible for the design and implementation of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems for Active Power.
Karl has 15 years of engineering industry expertise with the last seven years at Active Power as lead development engineer and manager of the Mechanical Systems Group. Prior to joining Active Power he held engineering and project lead roles at a variety of companies including Advanced System Integration Inc. McDonnell Douglas Corp. and General Dynamics Corp. He also served as an officer in the U.S. Army Reserves.
Karl earned his doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a master’s and bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington and Virginia Tech respectively. |
