Karl R. Sturbaum
Profile : Karl Sturbaum is a partner in the Public Finance Group. He has extensive experience in economic development and tax increment financings, tax abatement, and other financial incentives to business. He also has directed financings for schools, hospitals, fire stations, courthouses, jails, libraries, water and sewer districts and solid waste management districts. Mr. Sturbaum's background as a teacher provides him with a particular sensitivity to school issues, and has written and spoken on the subject of public finance. He is a member of the Indiana Association of School Business Officials, the Indiana School Boards Association, Indiana State Bar Association and the National Association of Bond Lawyers, and has served as a member of the Monroe County School Board. Mr. Sturbaum, a cum laude graduate of Indiana University School of Law, has been a practicing attorney and a member of the firm since 1986. He became a partner in 1993.
