A nine year veteran of Disney, Karl joined the Euro Disney Group in 2004 as Chief Operating Officer and was promoted to Chief Executive Officer in 2005. He began his career with Disney as Vice President of Downtown Disney® at the Walt Disney World Resort® and since then has held a number of leadership positions including President of the Walt Disney Cruise Line®. His position as Senior Vice President of Walt Disney World Operations gave him responsibility for the day-to-day operations of Epcot® and the MGM Studios®, Downtown Disney, and 11 resort hotel properties. Prior to joining Disney, he spent 5 years as Vice President of Theme Park Operations at Knott's Berry Farm in southern California. |
