As Senior Account Executive, Kari is responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans; writing and editing news releases, viewpoint columns and letters to the editor; developing collateral materials; and other various public relations activities.

Prior to joining The Rossman Group, Kari served as a Program Officer in the Detroit office of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), a national organization dedicated to supporting community development in cities across the country . While at LISC, Kari worked on policy initiatives around vacant and abandoned property, crafted various communication-related strategies, and oversaw all aspects of a unique regional program devoted to blurring the lines between Detroit and its inner-ring suburbs.

Kari earned her master's degree in public administration from Ohio University and her bachelor's degree in public relations from Ferris State University.
