Karen Powell is SVP, Global Client Management for Keane, a $1 billion-plus global services firm that specializes in enabling transformation of its clients’ business and IT functions. Karen is responsible for all aspects of client management and delivery to ensure high-quality and value-added services for Keane’s clients.
Karen has focused her career on operations improvement and has extensive experience working with clients to operationalize revenue growth strategies as well as gain measurable improvement in their cost of delivery. She has led the successful implementation of complex projects in insurance, financial services, and in the hospitality industry. Karen has been working with teams located across the globe since 1998 and lends this experience to maximize benefits gained through global delivery. Karen was the co-founder of Worldzen, an operations consulting and business process outsourcing firm with offices in India, acquired by Keane in 2003. She has also served as SVP at Keane Consulting Group and VP of the U.S. Corporate Banking Group of Bank of America.
Karen holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. She received her Bachelor of Science in Operations Management from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, IL. She serves as the President of the Board of Directors for the Jeffrey Pride Foundation for Pediatric Cancer Research. |
