A native of the North Shore, Karen Peake spent the first part of her career in corporate education in a variety of roles from business development, to needs analysis, to marketing and sales. Her love of education led to a 6 year stint as a middle school English teacher and now translates into a true joy in working with instructional designers, technical trainers, course developers and technical writers in a variety of high tech settings as a recruiter and account manager for Clear Point Consultants. When not working, Karen's true passion is sailing, especially racing sailboats in her home port of Marblehead, MA. Karen has competed in the Newport to Bermuda sailboat race as well as Marblehead to Halifax and numerous local races. Always eager to share her passion Karen is a volunteer instructor for the Women's Sailing Foundation.
