Karen O’Boyle is the President of North America for DBM, one of the world’s largest firms specializing in career transition, career management, and executive coaching. She joined the company in May, 2006 as the Senior Vice President for Strategic Sales in North America, and became the President of North America in December, 2006. Before joining DBM, Karen was a senior executive at Right Management Consultants, one of the largest firms in the career transition and organizational consulting industry. While at Right during the period 2002-2006, Karen held several key roles including: Senior Vice President and General Manager, Northeastern U.S. Region; Senior Vice President, Midatlantic Region; and Senior Vice President, Global Response Team. Prior to joining Right, Karen was Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Diversified Search, one of the top 20 retained executive search firms in the U.S. From 1995 to 2001, Karen was a senior executive at Manchester, one of the largest career transition and organizational consulting firms in the industry. For two years before she left the firm, Karen was Executive Vice President and Co-President. From 1995 to 1999, Karen held several senior leadership positions including: Senior Vice President, Delaware Valley Region; General Manager, Philadelphia Office; and Vice President, Global Sales Team. From 1980 to 1995, Karen worked at the Private Industry Council (PIC) of Philadelphia, a private, non-profit organization led by the CEOs of Philadelphia’s largest corporations. During her last three years at PIC, Karen was Chief Operating Officer. Previous roles included: Vice President of Marketing and Human Resources, and Manager of Administration and Human Resources. Karen has a Masters of Science in Management (MSM) degree from the American College in Bryn Mawr, PA. She graduated from the Smith Management Program at Smith College in Northampton, MA. |
