Karen King was named President of McDonald’s East Division in March 2005, and is responsible for more than 5,000 restaurants.
In this role, Karen is responsible for restaurant operations, financial performance, market and brand development, and fostering relationships with owner/operators, suppliers and community leaders.
Most recently, Karen served as Vice President of Strategic Planning and Business Development for McDonald’s U.S.A.
Previously, she served as General Manager and Vice President of the Florida Region from 2002 to 2003 and as Regional Manager and Vice President of the Raleigh Region from 1998 to 2001.
A 30-year employee of McDonald’s who began her career as a crewmember in Lawrenceville, Georgia, King has held a number of operational positions during her career including serving as Director of Operations for the Tampa Region in 1997 and as Multi-Department Head for that region in 1996.
King served as a Field Service Manager for the former Greenville Region from 1994-1995. She also worked as Operations Manager for the Florida and Atlanta markets and as Licensing Manager in the Raleigh, Atlanta and Greenville Regions. |
