Karen Anderson has a Master’s Degree in laboratory animal science from Drexel University College of Medicine and earned her undergraduate degree in neuroscience from Temple University. She has extensive experience in working with animal models of Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease and Spinal Cord Injury. Karen also has a diverse employment and educational background working in different types of animal facilities including major pharmaceutical companies, small biotech companies, CROs, as well as several universities in the Philadelphia area. Karen is a Registered Laboratory Animal Technologist and is active in the Delaware Valley Branch of AALAS. Her Master’s degree in laboratory animal science and her past employment experience in the field allows her to anticipate and support the needs of the biomedical research community. In her spare time, Karen trains in Korean and Chinese martial arts. She is a certified martial arts instructor and holds the rank of second-degree black belt in Tang Soo Do. |
