Ms. Adams is an award winning news anchor on WPRI-TV. She serves on the board of trustees of Meeting Street Community Preparatory School; Friends of Lincoln School and Friends of the Sophia Academy. Ms Adams is a member of the National TV Arts & Sciences Academy and in 2005 was inducted into the Silver Circle an award for broadcasters who have at least 25 years in television and who have made a significant contribution to the industry through their work and service. Previously she served on the board of Trinity Repertory Theatre Providence Animal Rescue League and the Diabetes Foundation of Rhode Island. Ms. Adams is a graduate of Southwest Missouri State University. |
