Karen N. Horn Ph.D. served as president Private Client Services and Managing Director of Marsh Inc. a subsidiary of MMC from 1999 until her retirement in 2003. She was elected to the board of directors of Eli Lilly and Company in 1987.
She earned a bachelor of arts degree in mathematics and economics from Pomona College and holds a doctor of philosophy degree in economics from The Johns Hopkins University. Her previous experience includes senior managing director and head of international private banking Bankers Trust Company; chairman and CEO of Bank One Cleveland N.A.; president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland; treasurer of the Bell Telephone Company of Pennsylvania; and vice president of First National Bank of Boston.
Ms. Horn has been senior managing director Brock Capital Group since 2004. She is a director of T. Rowe Price Mutual Funds; The U.S. Russia Investment Fund a presidential appointment; Simon Property Group; and Fannie Mae. Also she has served on the President's Bipartisan Commission on Entitlements. |
