Professional Activities:
Prior to joining Evans & Dixon in 2006, Ms. Johnson served as a law clerk for the Honorable Robert S. Barney at the Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District and as an Assistant Attorney General and labor unit leader in the Missouri Attorney Generals’ office, defending the Second Injury Fund and the State in workers’ compensation claims against state agencies. She has handled workers’ compensation matters in the agriculture, forestry and fishing, automotive, construction, education/schools, government, manufacturing, medical/health care, and retail trade services industries. Her case experience includes amputations, assaults and violent acts, back injuries, back pain, body system injuries, bruises, contusions, carpal tunnel syndrome, chemical burns, contact with objects and equipment, cumulative trauma, cuts, lacerations, falls, fatalities, fractures, harmful substances or environments, head injuries, head pain, heart attacks, lower extremity injuries, multiple traumatic injuries, musckuloskelatal disorders, neck injuries, neck pain, permanent disability, pulmonary disorders, respiratory condition, skin deceases/disorders, sprains, strains, breaks, tears, tendinitis, transportation incidents and upper extremity injuries.
