Karen D. Thornton Vice President, Strategic Planning and Management Services Ms. Thornton was introduced to EmCare in 1994 and worked independently on several initiatives until 2001 at which time she formally joined EmCare. Ms. Thornton possesses a strong background focused on project management, software implementation, process improvement, and training. As Vice President, Ms. Thornton is primarily responsible for the coordination and execution of EmCare’s Strategic Plan. Additionally, she manages the operations of EmCare’s Quality, Management Services, and HRIS/Payroll Departments. She received a BS in Industrial Management from Purdue University and holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. |
