Karen is a manager in the Firm's audit department. Karen works closely with the Firm's Quality Review Coordinator in keeping clients and professional staff informed about significant accounting and auditing matters.
Some of Karen's recent projects include working with a large, multi-service not-for-profit in its planned expansion, assistance in its computerization and implementation of an internal control structure.
Karen is a Certified Public Accountant with approximately 7 years experience in public accounting, and 7 years in private industry. She holds a B.S. Degree in Accounting from Bridgewater State College where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Service to community is of great importance to Karen as she serves as Director of Confirmation, a Eucharistic Minister, CCD teacher and treasurer of a local Boy Scout Troop. She has been presented a citation by both the House of Representatives and Senate for her commitment and service to her community. Karen is a member of the Metro South Chamber of Commerce, the Friends of Borderland, the Natural Resources Trust and the Easton Historical Society.
Karen joined the Firm in 1995. She has significant experience in the audits of health and human service providers and real estate entities. Karen provides an array of services to agencies with budgets of under one million to budgets in excess of twenty million.
Karen is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
