Business Systems Modernization, U.S. Agency for International Development Program
Kakali Banerjee is the business program manager for the U.S. Agency for International Development’s (USAID’s) IT System Modernization and Maintenance (ISMM) program. In November 2003, USAID awarded SRA the Principal Resource for Information Management Enterprise-wide (PRIME 2.2) contract. Under this contract, SRA is helping USAID manage, modernize and maintain the agency’s information technology (IT) program. The contract consolidates operations and implements a comprehensive approach to the acquisition, integration, life cycle management, and operation of the agency's IT resources. SRA services include project management; network engineering, management and security; worldwide data and voice communications; software and application development; customer relationship management and other user services; and analysis and implementation of emerging technologies.
Since joining SRA in 1994, Banerjee has led projects across the company. Prior to that, she had a successful career in government and private industry. As a mathematician for the U.S. Bureau of Census, she supported international and domestic census and survey programs, working in Africa and India to establish census data processing centers and the 1990 U.S. Decennial census. |
