The Compliance Coordinator for the Yuma Union High School District is Justin Carlson. After 20 years in the classroom and 2 years as a Department Chairperson, in August of 2007 Justin assumed the responsibility of paperwork compliance for the district. Justin is an Iowa native, and has lived in Yuma since 1999. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Education from Drake University, and his Master's Degree in Bilingual Multicultural Education from Northern Arizona University. Justin was also a head basketball coach for 18 years retiring with a career record of 328-196. He was a 2 time coach of the year with 3 state tournaments. In his spare time Justin enjoys spending time with his two great kids, Jacob and Jillian, also of Yuma. He also enjoys golfing, music, and surfing |
