As general counsel Ms. Waters is responsible for negotiating contract relationships with companies that are the subject of acquisition by First Advantage advising on securities matters and managing the legal department which includes regulatory and contract counsels. Ms. Waters gained extensive experience in these matters through her prior employment in Washington D.C. as general counsel and secretary for a publicly traded wholesale floral distributor U.S.A. Floral Products Inc.; as in-house corporate counsel for TECO Energy Inc.; and in-house corporate counsel for Spalding & Evenflo Companies Inc. both located in Tampa Fla. Ms. Waters received a bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia and holds a juris doctor degree from the George Washington University School of Law in Washington D.C. |
