was born and raised in North Canton, Ohio close to the Akron Canton Airport. I remember as a kid, my dad taking me to the airport to watch the airplanes take-off and land, which I always enjoyed.
I hold an accounting degree from the University of Akron. I lived and worked in Cleveland as an auditor for two years. After I got married, my husband and I decided we didn’t enjoy being in Cleveland and built a house in Jackson Township, closer to family. I found a job as the Fiscal Compliance Officer at Akron Summit Community Action Agency and worked there 15 years the last nine years as part-time.
When I saw the posting for a part-time accountant at Castle I thought it was a perfect fit; close to home and I can watch airplanes every day!
I’ve been married to Scott for 17 years and have two children, Mindy and Ryan. My interests include traveling, working out, reading and spending time with my family. I especially enjoy watching Mindy play basketball and soccer and enjoy being Ryan’s Tiger Cub Den Co-Leader. |
