Julie Southfield joined American Capital in 2006 as Assistant General Counsel. Prior to joining American Capital, Ms. Southfield was an Associate in the London and Washington D.C. offices of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, where her practice focused on capital markets and structured finance transactions, as well as U.S. financial institutions regulatory matters.
Ms. Southfield received her J.D., with highest honors, from The George Washington University Law School, where she was a member of the Law Review, and an M.S. and B.A. in Anthropology from Purdue University. Ms. Southfield is a member of the District of Columbia Bar and an inactive member of the Virginia Bar. |
