Julian L. Fruhling is passionate about providing high quality services and products to affluent individuals in Arizona. He has assembled a team of seasoned bankers that are similarly focused. Eighteen of the initial employees of Legacy Bank previously worked with Fruhling. In the 1990’s, he led Founders Bank of Arizona to the top 5% position of community banks in the country. Fruhling, who is a thirty-year banking veteran, has worked with three ownership groups, twenty of those years with Legacy Bank’s Chairman, Lyle Campbell.Fruhling says, One of the significant attributes an affluent client is looking for in a banker is continuity. Clients do not want to be introduced to a new banker every year and keep telling their personal story over and over. They want and deserve a banker that is highly competent, knows them and their family, and is willing to invest in a relationship. Attracting bankers with these characteristics is very difficult in a public company setting where the primary focus is quarterly earnings. Legacy Bank is ideally positioned through private ownership to take a long term view of Private Banking and has the patient money to allow for our success.
