Judy has over 20 years of experience in Law Firm Management Consulting. She assists firms to improve their business performance by aligning processes, resources, and technology. Her experience includes project management, process improvement and automation, system selection and implementation, contract negotiations, merger analysis, and software design and development.

Prior to joining Huron, Judy was a Director of both Practice Management Services and Implementation Services at Thomson Elite. She was also a Shareholder at Baker Robbins & Company and a Senior Manager at PriceWaterhouse.

Selection, Implementation and Project Management
Advised Steering Committee and directed project team for 3200+ fee earner international firm deploying new business processes and technology to over 40 offices.
Led teams at numerous domestic and international law firms in the selection and implementation of workflow, conflicts, records, and financial systems.
Assisted several large law firms to analyze technology and services purchase agreements and negotiate favorable contracts. Efforts routinely achieved 10 - 20% cost savings.
Process Improvement and Software Design
Advised Risk Management Committee of leading law firms on their new business intake and risk management processes. Led teams to streamline processes and integrate conflicts, records, document management, and financial systems through use of BPM technology.
Co-architected and directed multi-year project to design and develop client management and financial systems software for Am Law 100 firm.
Initiated design and development of project quality model for a leading legal software vendor. Established Project Management Office and directed deployment of the model to six new practice areas and 75+ consultants.
Merger and Acquisition
Assisted three large Canadian firms in conducting merger analysis and migration of disparate systems to a single unified platform.
Served a member of corporate M&A team to analyze prospective acquisition's client base, product functionality, and implementation staff.
