Judith P. Zelisko, Vice President-Tax, heads up Brunswick’s Corporate Tax Department which is responsible for all worldwide tax planning and U.S. tax compliance. Prior to being named Vice President-Tax in January 1998, Ms. Zelisko had held the title of Director of Tax and Assistant Vice President and staff Vice President since December 1983. Before joining Brunswick in 1978 as a tax attorney, Ms. Zelisko was an associate with the law firm of Baker & McKenzie in Chicago.
Ms. Zelisko graduated from Syracuse University in Syracuse, N.Y., with a bachelor’s degree in economics and international relations, and received a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
Ms. Zelisko is active in the tax community both in the Chicago area and on a national basis. She was elected the first woman president of the Chicago Chapter of the Tax Executives Institute (TEI) in 1994 and has served in a number of regional and national leadership positions with TEI. Ms. Zelisko currently serves as the 2003-2004 Senior Vice President, Vice Chair of the Executive Committee and Chair of the Continuing Education Committee for TEI National. In addition to her activities with the Tax Executives Institute, she has served as a member of the MAPI Tax Council II since 1984, and Chairperson, 2001-2002. |
