As Executive Vice President of Capital Markets, Judi Bikulege is responsible for all project equity and debt financing, as well as providing merger and acquisition support to our Acquisitions and Development Group. A twenty five year hospitality veteran, Judi has a diverse background which includes finance, mergers and acquisitions, development, asset management, risk management, and operations. She has played an instrumental role in over $5 billion of hotel acquisitions and dispositions and has successfully placed in excess of $2 billion of debt and refinancing. Prior to rejoining Gencom in July 2007, Judi was Vice President of Business Affairs at Morgan Hotel Group (formerly known as Ian Schrager Hotels). Previously, she held the position of Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions for Patriot American Hospitality. Judi joined Patriot through her position with Gencom American, a co-sponsor for the Patriot IPO, and was one of the senior management team which took Patriot public in the largest hotel REIT IPO at the time. As Vice President of Acquisitions and Finance with Gencom, she was extensively involved in the development of the management company and successively acquired over 50 real estate assets totaling in excess of $1 billion during her tenure. Earlier in her career, Judi held financial and operational positions at Fine Hotels and Richfield Management Company. Judi Bikulege holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Houston. |
