As Vice President for Latin America Juan Ramos is responsible for all day-to-day operations of iBasis' Latin America sales team including selling iBasis services to carriers and developing new partnerships for termination within the region.
Since 2000 Mr. Ramos worked to secure relationships for iBasis with major carriers in the region including AES Antel Cantv Embratel Entel Chile Impsat Intelig Orbitel Telecom Argentina Telecom Colombia Telefonica and Telesp. Mr. Ramos brings to iBasis more than 15 years of experience in marketing business development and entrepreneurial leadership.
Previously Mr. Ramos was Marketing Director at S.C.Johnson and Sons in Canada USA and Argentina. A wine enthusiast Mr. Ramos also founded a successful winery in Argentina. Mr. Ramos holds a Master of Business Administration degree from IESE Barcelona Spain and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program of Harvard Business School. Mr. Ramos also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Tucuman Argentina. |
