Juan N. Cento is president of the FedEx Express division based in Miami that serves Latin America and the Caribbean. His overall responsibility includes more than 3 000 employees and encompasses more than 50 countries and territories.
Cento has more than 27 years of experience in the air cargo and express transportation industry. Cento previously worked with the Flying Tigers Line Inc. and transitioned to FedEx in 1989 when the two companies merged.
Cento is a Cuba native raised and educated in Miami. He attended Miami Dade Community College and Florida International University Business School. Actively involved in several non-profit organizations such as the United Way he also serves on the board of trustees for the FTAA is chairman of the board for the International Kids Fund and is a board of directors member of both the Beacon Council and The World Trade Center Miami. |
