Mr. Becerra joined MTI Micro in May 2001. He is currently responsible for developing the market and business plans for the company including product definition, strategy, alliances, and intellectual property as the Vice President of Market and Business Development. He brought 20 years of technology and product experience and a strong background in leading product development teams to his first position as Vice President of Product Development where he led the development of the novel micro-fuel cell technology platform known as Mobion. Mr. Becerra worked for Xerox Corporation from 1993 to 2001, where he authored many patents and managed High Performance Desktop Printer Programs from 2000 to 2001. As the Manager for this important program, Mr. Becerra was responsible for all elements necessary to mass-produce the ink jet marking platform. He received his B.S. in electrical engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an M.S. in electrical engineering from North Carolina State University. Mr. Becerra is a name author of ten of the company's patent applications.
