Mr. Juan C. Podestá is Division Manager of FMC FoodTech's Food Processing Systems Division. The $250M Division employs 1200 people in 7 manufacturing operations and 12 service centers in USA, Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Africa.
Prior to relocating to the US in 2002, as the senior manager of FMC in Europe, Mr. Podestá oversaw FMC's corporate regional activities including, finance, treasury, legal support, and human resources. Mr Podestá has extensive experience from Latin America, the United States, and Europe, and Asia
Mr. Podestá is former Vice-chairman of the Board of Food Processing Machinery Europe (FPME), a trade association that groups the leading global suppliers to the food industry. Until recently, Mr. Podestá was a Board member of The Council of the Americas, a leading business organization committed to promote and support free trade, democracy, and the rule of law throughout the Americas.
Mr. Podestá earned a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Buenos Aires and a MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.
