Mr. JP Gan is a managing director of Qiming Venture Partners since January 2007. From May 2005 to December 2006, Mr. Gan was the Chief Financial Officer of KongZhong Corporation, a Nasdaq listed wireless internet company. Prior to joining KongZhong, Mr. Gan was a director of The Carlyle Group responsible for venture capital investments in the Greater China region from May 2000 to May 2005. Mr. Gan worked at the investment banking division of Merrill Lynch, in Hong Kong from August 1999 to May 2000, and worked at Price Waterhouse in the United States from August 1994 to September 1997. Mr. Gan obtained his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Iowa. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the United States.
