Josino de Almeida Fonseca, 67, holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Escola Politécnica da Pontifica Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro and an MBA degree in Finance from IBMEC, in 2005. He has been the Chairman of the Fiscal Council and Auditing Committee of TIM Participações S.A. since May, 2005. He was a Fiscal Council member of Tele Nordeste Celular Participações S.A and Tele Celular Sul Participações S.A. He provided consulting services for Alcatel Telecomunicações S/A between January 2001 and May 2002. He was a member of the Board of Directors of CIA. AIX de Participações and CIA. ACT de Participações between July 2001 to May 2002 and Tess S.A. from March 2000 to March 2001. From March 1999 to June 2000, he was Managing Partner of K_RM Systems Importação e Comérico Ltda.
