Intellectual Property and Technology Litigation
Joshua McCaig specializes in health care litigation, primarily working to defend hospitals, physicians and other health care providers against claims of medical malpractice. Joshua’s background in biology and physiology is an invaluable asset in developing the defense of complex and high stakes medical malpractice claims. He has assisted in successfully trying over a dozen cases in the state courts of Michigan and Missouri, as well as frequently participating in alternative dispute resolution proceedings on behalf of his clients. In addition to medical malpractice litigation, he is experienced in other areas of health care law, including general negligence claims and the litigation of regulatory and compliance matters under HIPAA and EMTALA.
Mr. McCaig is also a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
