Josh Wexler is Chief Executive Officer, Co-Founder and Director of SoftWave Media Exchange (SWMX). He is responsible for guiding the organization?s strategic direction, business development and execution of all internal and external operational initiatives. Prior to co-founding SWMX, Mr. Wexler was CEO of Zysys Solutions, an IT and software development firm he co-founded to serve organizations across a broad spectrum of industries. His responsibilities at Zysys included management of client relationships, business development and directing execution of client initiatives for industry leading corporations including: Hugo Boss, Time Warner, Orvis, NASCAR and Timberland. Zysys is also responsible for the development of the SWMX platform.Mr. Wexler has extensive experience in developing successful entrepreneurial ventures. Earlier in his career, he was co-founder and Vice President of Hypnotic Hats Ltd., (HYP), a boutique apparel and accessories company that received significant marketplace attention in the early '90s as a brand-favorite among celebrities, professional athletes, the fashion elite and music industry icons. HYP became a global brand within nine months of its founding and was featured extensively in broadcast and print media, including profiles on CNN, ABC, MTV and in Esquire, New York Magazine, USA Today, LA Times Magazine, and Details Magazine, among others.Mr. Wexler attended Cornell University where, as a four-year starter on the men?s basketball team, he was a member of the 1988 Ivy League Championship team and served as Captain for the 1988/1989 season. Additionally, Mr. Wexler was a three-time member of the United States Men's Maccabiah Basketball team, winning a gold medal in 1985 and silver medals in 1989 and 1993. |
