Josh joined The Mercanti Group as an Associate in 2003 and was promoted to Principal in 2007. He has extensive buy-side and sell-side merger and acquisition transaction experience involving both public and private companies across a variety of industry sectors, including consumer products, specialty retail, leisure, building products and wholesale supply. Among private companies, Josh has provided M&A advice to companies owned by individual entrepreneurs, families and premier private equity firms. Josh’s recent clients include Water Pik (owned by The Carlyle Group, Zodiac SA and management), Empire Beauty Schools (owned by CEO, Key Principal Partners and Regis Corp.), The Sands Regent (Nasdaq: SNDS), Gander Mountain Co. (Nasdaq: GMTN) and Sevylor (family owned). Prior to joining Mercanti, Josh worked with the Consumer Mergers and Acquisitions Group of Piper Jaffray in their San Francisco office. Josh received his BA cum laude in Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder. |
