Mr. Sweeney joined NorthMarq Capital in September 2003 when NorthMarq acquired the mortgage banking division of Legg Mason Real Estate Services (LMRES) where he was employed since 1997. Mr. Sweeney is currently Senior Vice President and Managing Director of the Philadelphia office. His responsibilities include management of the commercial loan production unit, debt and equity placement for insurance company and pension fund investors represented by NorthMarq, and the development of new clients and financing opportunities in the Tri-State area. Mr. Sweeney has arranged over $70 million in first mortgage loan transactions in sizes ranging from $1,000,000 to $30 million. Mr. Sweeney has 20 years of experience in real estate investment banking. Mr. Sweeney formerly served as Vice President with Reilly Mortgage Group for two years. Prior to joining Reilly Mortgage, he served as Vice President for Republic Mortgage, a national commercial mortgage banking firm headquartered in Chicago. Mr. Sweeny holds a BS degree in Marketing and Management from LaSalle University. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in Pennsylvania and a member of the Tri-State Commercial and Industrial Realtors Association. |
