Joe Pistritto is an angel investor and an engineering leader with several Internet-related companies. He is currently VP of Development at Embarcadero Technologies where he oversees development of all Embarcadero software products. Mr. Pistritto has held various senior management roles in software engineering including vice president of internet products at Oracle and vice president of systems engineering at PointCast. Prior to joining Embarcadero Technologies, he was vice president of engineering at XDegrees, which was acquired by Microsoft. Mr. Pistritto received his BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. Mr. Pistritto invested in XCOR in June 2000 and again in November 2000, and is active in advising on the strategic direction of XCOR outside of board meetings. |
