Joseph Murphy began his career with Bank of Boston. In 1966, he joined Old Stone Bank, rising through the ranks to become President. He also served as President and Chairman of Attleboro Pawtucket Savings Bank. During the Rhode Island credit union crisis in the 1990's, Mr. Murphy served as Managing Director of AMRESCO, Inc., where he had executive responsibility for liquidating the assets of the failed institutions for the State of Rhode Island's liquidating entity, DEPCO. Mr. Murphy is a 1960 graduate of Harvard University. |
