Joseph Callerame Ph.D. Vice President Science and Technology develops new technologies and enhances product offerings to fulfill present and future market needs in AS&E’s rapidly evolving industry. Dr. Callerame joined AS&E in 1998.
Prior to AS&E Dr. Callerame served at Raytheon Electronic Systems as Manager of Engineering and Technology Development. From 1993 to 1994 he served as Deputy General Manager of the Research Division of Raytheon and from 1989 to 1992 he was Assistant General Manager of this Division. Prior to serving as Assistant General Manager Dr. Callerame held the position of Manager Infrared Detector Laboratory and the Stable Sources Laboratory. From 1977 to 1980 Dr. Callerame was a senior scientist in Medical Ultrasound at Raytheon’s Research Division. Dr. Callerame earned his Ph.D. and master’s degree in physics from Harvard University and holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical physics from Columbia University. Dr. Callerame also served as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Physics at MIT from 1975 to 1977.
Dr. Callerame returned to AS&E in April 2004 after an eleven-month sabbatical in Florence Italy. |
