Dr. Caldwell completed a five-year Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation Residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL, after receiving his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine, in Philadelphia, PA. Before attending medical school, Dr. Caldwell received his bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences and Mathematics from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA.
Professional Interest
Since 1989, Dr. Caldwell has been affiliated with a number of hospitals in Florida, New Jersey, and Maine. His professional interests include total joint replacement, hand surgery, knee and shoulder arthroscopy, trauma, pediatrics, and sports medicine. Dr. Caldwell is Board certified and is a member of the American Medical Association, Maine Medical Association, and the New England Orthopaedic Society, and he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He received the Physician Recognition Award from the American Medical Association in 2005, 2002, 1999, 1997, 1994, and 1991. |
