Dr. Bocka is an emergency medicine residency trained, board certified physician. He serves as the Emergency Department Medical Director at Shelby Hospital, which is part of the MedCentral Health System (with facilities in Mansfield and Shelby, Ohio). In addition, he is the EMS Director for both Shelby and Mansfield Hospitals and is involved in EMS and trauma care on local, state and national levels. Dr. Bocka is a Fellow in the American College of Emergency Physicians. He is a member of the American Association of Emergency Medicine, the National Association of EMS Physicians and the American Medical Association. Dr. Bocka received his undergraduate degree at the New York University in New York, New York and his medical degree from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey- New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. He completed his emergency medicine residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, where he served as Chief Resident his final year. |
