Joe Lee is Vice President of Sales for TECO Coal Corp., a subsidiary of TECO Energy. He is responsible for the sales and marketing of coal and synthetic fuel products from Gatliff Coal Co., Clintwood Elkhorn Mining Co., Premier Elkhorn Coal Co. and Perry County Coal Corp.

Lee was hired into this present position with TECO Energy on July 10, 1995. He completed an Industrial Sales Management program at Pennsylvania State University and a Finance and Accounting program in the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He also served more than 10 years in the railroad industry. Prior to his employment with TECO Energy, he was associated with Westmoreland Coal Sales since 1974. He held the positions of Sales Representative, District Manager, Vice President of Purchasing, Vice President of Purchasing and Distribution, Vice President of Purchasing and Northern Sales and Senior Vice President before being named President of Westmoreland Coal Sales in August 1991.

Lee has served as an Advisory Board member of Norfolk Southern, Trustee of Southern Coals Conference, Secretary-Treasurer of the North Carolina Coal Institute and board member of Westmoreland Energy, Inc.
