Joseph T. DiGiacomo is a Managing Director of Source Companies, LLC. He has over 30 years of experience providing advisory services to privately-held businesses on matters relating to growth strategies, mergers & acquisitions, business valuations, sales of businesses, finance and accounting. He has also held corporate positions developing and managing businesses. He has significant experience in the transportation, supply chain logistics, wholesale distribution, residential construction, restaurant, and fast food franchise industries. From 2001 to 2004, Mr. DiGiacomo served initially as CFO and ultimately as President of the domestic subsidiary of a global logistics company that grew through a series of business acquisitions from an equity-funded start-up operation to a $130 million business. He was responsible for overall financial management including all merger & acquisition transactions and post-acquisition integration initiatives in the US. During 1999 and 2000, Mr. DiGiacomo worked in a corporate development role for Penske Truck Leasing and Penske Logistics providing merger & acquisition services for this $2 billion, privately-held international truck leasing and transportation logistics company. For 22 years, Mr. DiGiacomo provided business consulting, business valuation, merger & acquisition, accounting and tax services for regional public accounting and consulting firms in Eastern Pennsylvania. Mr. DiGiacomo holds a BS in Business Administration - Accounting from Bloomsburg University and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and Certified Business Appraiser (inactive). He completed all of the required business valuation education and examinations provided by the American Society of Appraisers and The Institute of Business Appraisers. Mr. DiGiacomo is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He resides in Allentown, Pennsylvania. |
