Mr. McCoy has over 30 years of oil and gas experience spanning diverse segments within the industry including exploration and production mining pipelines and transportation and crude oil marketing. Notably he has over 15 years of experience as a senior finance officer for large publicly traded corporations and most recently served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Burlington Resources. Prior to Burlington Mr. McCoy was Vice President and Controller of Vastar Resources a multi-billion dollar exploration production and marketing company that was a partial spin-off from ARCO and ultimately sold to British Petroleum. He began his career with ARCO in 1974 and served as Assistant Controller and later Vice President Finance Planning and Control for ARCO Alaska in 1989. Mr. McCoy is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Masters degree in accounting and an MBA from Northeastern University and a Bachelors degree in economics from College of the Holy Cross. He also serves on the Board of Rancher Energy Corporation where he is Chairman of the Audit Committee. In addition he is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and a former member of the Boards for the Anchorage Boys & Girls Club and Providence Hospital in Anchorage Alaska.
