Professional Experience Joseph P. Benty joined Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein, P.C. in January 2004 as Director of Marketing Communications. Prior to joining the firm Mr. Benty spent the last two decades as an intergrated marketing communications executive with a specialization in brand marketing, competitive intelligence research and tactical publicity. He has consulted, developed and managed strategic initiatives for regional, national and international firms like: Aveda, Banfi Vintners, Exhibitgroup, Four Seasons Sunrooms, Liz Claiborne, Meenan Oil, Philips Electronics, Tiffany & Company, and Yupoong International. Most recently, Mr. Benty was VP/Brand Strategy at two well-known New York advertising agencies and also spent 11 years in the corporate and broadcast television industry. His background includes business and program development, promotion and production for a variety programs that have aired on: ABC-TV, ESPN, FOX-TV, Prime Sports Network, PBS and SportsChannel.Professional AffiliationsMr. Benty presently serves on the Advisory Board of Nassau Suffolk Law Services and co-chairs the organization’s PR Committee. An avid supporter of non-profits, Joe has also served on the Marketing & Communications Committee for the L.I. United Way, the New Long Island Partnership, the Hauppauge Industrial Association and has been an active member and speaker at organizations including the IABC (International Association of Business Communicators), PRPLI (Public Relations Professionals of Long Island), LIAC (Long Island Ad Club), HIA (Hauppauge Industrial Association), NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners) and AGC (Association of Graphic Communications).
