M. Joseph McHugh has been a director of Union since February 2006. Mr. McHugh served as one of five members of the office of Chief Executive from October 2000 to October 2001 and Acting Chief Financial Officer from November 1999 to May 2000 of Pillowtex Corporation, a home textiles manufacturer. Pillowtex Corporation filed a voluntary petition for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in November 2000. Mr. McHugh served in various executive positions at Triangle Pacific Corp, a housing and cabinet manufacturer, from 1976 to 1998. Mr. McHugh is a director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Lone Star Technologies, Inc., a New York Stock Exchange-listed company and a director and Chairman of the Compensation Committee of Components Corp. of America. Mr. McHugh received a Bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College in 1960 and a M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College in 1961. |
