Joe Eastman is a Client Partner with LeaderSource, A Korn/Ferry Company, based in the firm’s Minneapolis office. He has extensive experience in human resources leadership, P&L management, executive coaching and consulting. Prior to his 12 years at LeaderSource, Mr. Eastman was an independent executive HR consultant, and leader of a successful technology-based service organization. His diverse career began with a series of leadership roles in HR management for the State of Minnesota. With both line and staff experience at E.F. Johnson and CenterPoint Energy (then Minnegasco), he gained a balanced perspective on organizational realities and customer needs. Mr. Eastman approaches consulting and executive coaching at Korn/Ferry International with specific attention to an organization’s cultural context in relation to the executive’s reality. Through coaching in multiple areas of career/purpose, interpersonal, and resilience mastery, he helps clients navigate transition, align purpose, and effectively leverage relationships. Mr. Eastman also championed and led the development of LeaderSource’s LifePlan InstituteSM program for post-career planning. A thoughtful, accomplished essayist with interest in purpose, legacy, and reflective, values-based leadership, Mr. Eastman is the author of What Is Becoming Clearer to Me, and co-author of Legacy Leadership, Executive Excellence. He is a past president of the Twin Cities Human Resource Association, and is currently a board member of a privately held manufacturing company. Mr. Eastman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and History from the University of Minnesota and received his Coaches’ Training through New Ventures West Coaching to Excellence, the Hudson Institute, and the Corporate Directors Academy. He is a certified Career Management fellow and a member of the Association of Career Professionals International. |
