Joe Moglia has been CEO since March 2001 and his leadership has strengthened the Company by focusing on clients shareholders and associates. Moglia's team has capitalized on nine merger and acquisition opportunities including the two largest in the industry TD Waterhouse in January 2006 and the merger with Datek in September 2002. He joined the Company after having spent 17 years at Merrill Lynch where he was a member of the executive committees for both the institutional business and the private client business. Moglia is a member of the board of directors of TD AMERITRADE AXA Financial Inc. Creighton University and the National Italian American Foundation and a member of the STRATCOM Consultation Committee. Prior to entering the financial services industry Moglia was the defensive coordinator for Dartmouth College's football team capping a 16-year coaching career. In 2005 Moglia authored the book titled "Coach Yourself to Success: Winning the Investment Game " explaining the essential principles of investing. He holds a master's degree in secondary education from the University of Delaware and a bachelor's in economics from Fordham University. |
