Joseph E. Rosen has been a director of the Company since 1982 except for a three-year hiatus in 1995-1998. With the appointment of Mr. Rosen in November of 2006 the position of Chairman of the Board will be filled by an independent outside director for the first time in the Company's history.
Mr. Rosen is currently Director Business Development and Planning for BioLife Plasma Services. Mr. Rosen was previously an owner of Sera-Tec Biologicals from its inception in 1969 where he served in various capabilities including President from 1986 until 2001. Mr. Rosen is currently serving as Chairman of the Board of the PPTA Source the plasma collection industry trade group and has been a member of the board of directors of several public and private health care companies. He has over 39 years of experience in the plasma and blood banking industry. |
