Joseph E. Strauss practices complex commercial litigation and appellate litigation in a wide array of cases in both state and federal courts throughout the United States. Mr. Strauss has extensive experience in white collar criminal defense litigation, including both civil and criminal RICO and securities fraud. He has also focused on international cases, including cases involving Holocaust restitution and novel issues concerning the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act. Mr. Strauss also has significant experience in land use cases, including spot zoning litigation; environmental insurance coverage litigation; tort litigation; asbestos litigation; bankruptcy litigation; and breach of contract cases.
