Joseph E. Linehan is a partner of Meyer, Unkovic & Scott LLP and a member of the firm’s Litigation Group. Mr. Linehan practices primarily in the area of commercial litigation, including construction, insurance coverage, real estate, environmental, employment and Uniform Commercial Code litigation.Mr. Linehan has represented government officials with respect to alleged conspiracies and civil rights violations, and has experience in election law. He has represented print and television media outlets in First Amendment actions, and is experienced in matters relating to airports and aviation, biotechnology and computer software. Mr. Linehan is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Allegheny College from which he graduated magna cum laude in 1986. He received his Juris Doctorate cum laude in 1990 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he served as Notes and Comments Editor for the University of Pittsburgh Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif. Mr. Linehan is the Immediate Past President of the Board of Directors of the Allegheny/Westmoreland/Beaver Chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving and has served the organization and its Board in various capacities for several years. He is a member of the Allegheny County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. Mr. Linehan resides in Mt. Lebanon. |
