Joseph D. Ragan III is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for all financial functions including: financial reporting; financial operations; internal audit; treasury; financial planning and analysis; and facilities. He reports directly to Jim Leto, GTSI President and Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Ragan has more than 20 years experience in global finance and accounting. He has led international finance organizations in a wide range of businesses from small pre-revenue operations to multi-billion dollar international companies. Beginning his finance career in the Washington, D.C. practice office of Deloitte & Touche, he has since held financial leadership positions in several organizations including Winstar Communications, PSEG Global, and The AES Corporation. During his career, he has participated in over $4.5 billion of global merger and acquisition deals.
He holds an MS in Accounting from George Mason University, a BS in Accounting from the University of the State of New York and has taken post graduate courses at both the Wharton School and Harvard Business School. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Mr. Ragan is a member of the Financial Executives International, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Potomac Officers Club.
Prior to his finance career, he served as a U.S Army military intelligence officer. |
